Why this page exists

D.E.A.R: Drop Everything And Read. Growing up, it was the one hour nobody could touch me. Not the kids who made every day hell, not anything outside those pages. I'd open a book, look up what felt like a minute later, and the hour was gone. Books gave me somewhere to go when there wasn't anywhere else that felt safe.

They still do, just differently now. I haven't finished most of these books, but every time I read a few pages I walk away thinking about something differently. Sometimes it's about design, sometimes it's just about how people work. Either way, they keep stretching my thinking.
